Service 10 · Infrastructure

Infrastructure & data centres

A technology foundation ready to support your operations.

The solution

We plan, implement and modernise compute and storage environments, with attention to capacity, availability and lifecycle management. Whether you run a server room with three machines or a data centre serving a bank, the questions are the same: is there enough capacity for the next three years, what happens when a component fails, and who knows how it all fits together. We answer them with a design, build it with HP servers and storage we support locally, and hand over documentation your team can operate from.

Business value

Capacity aligned with workloads and operations that are easier to manage.

Service scope

Infrastructure & data centres

Four stages, each with a clear deliverable. Where AI helps, it is marked.

01

Sizing of servers, storage and virtualisation

Measurement of current workloads, growth projections and a sizing that fits the budget, with virtualisation to use the hardware fully.

Capacity trends
02

Deployment of on-premises, hybrid and high-availability environments

Installation and configuration of hosts, clusters, storage and networking, with redundancy where the business needs it and cloud connection where it makes sense.

03

Planning of racks, power, cooling and technical connections

Rack layout, UPS and generator sizing, cooling, cabling and physical access so the room supports the equipment it holds.

Resource optimisation
04

Migration, monitoring, documentation and maintenance

Migration of workloads with planned downtime, monitoring of health and capacity, as-built documentation, and maintenance and warranty handling for the supplied hardware.

Operational anomalies
AI use cases

Three AI use cases, all optional

Optional. Every AI feature uses data you approve, can be switched off, and keeps a person in the loop.

Capacity trends

Analyses usage history of CPU, memory, storage and backups and projects when each resource will run out, so expansions are planned rather than urgent.

Resource optimisation

Identifies oversized or idle virtual machines and suggests reallocations that free capacity without new hardware.

Operational anomalies

Flags unusual temperatures, disk errors, latency or power events early, before they become an outage.

When this service makes sense

A technology foundation ready to support your operations.

  • Your servers are out of warranty or out of capacity and the next step is unclear.
  • A new application, branch or acquisition needs infrastructure that the current room cannot support.
  • You want to keep systems on your premises for regulatory or connectivity reasons but with cloud-like reliability.
How we work

Delivery with clear criteria.

Project, recurring service or specialist engagement. The model and indicators are defined in the proposal.

01

Assess

Goals, data, systems and constraints.

02

Design

Scope, architecture, integrations and plan.

03

Implement

Configuration, development and testing.

04

Validate

Acceptance, quality and knowledge transfer.

Frequently asked questions

What clients ask us

Which hardware do you supply?

HP servers, storage and campus equipment, with lifecycle services and warranty management handled by ISOFT. Other brands are supported where you already own them.

Can you build a hybrid with the cloud?

Yes. Common patterns are on-premises production with cloud backup or disaster recovery, or cloud for public-facing services with core systems kept locally.

Do you take over the maintenance afterwards?

If you want. Monitoring, maintenance and hardware support can continue as an IT managed service, or we hand over fully with documentation and training.
