On-premises SOC

Security monitoring with local control of data and processes.

The solution

We design and implement a Security Operations Centre at your premises, combining technology, processes and operational team readiness. For banks, telecoms, public bodies and groups that cannot send logs abroad, an on-premises SOC gives central visibility over every system while the data, the tools and the decisions stay inside the organisation. We build it in stages so that monitoring starts early and grows with the team's capacity.

Business value

Centralised visibility and organised response while retaining local governance.

Service scope

On-premises SOC

Four stages, each with a clear deliverable. Where AI helps, it is marked.

01

SOC architecture, log sources and retention requirements

Which systems to monitor, which events matter, how long to keep them, and the servers, storage and network the SOC needs.

02

SIEM deployment and security tool integration

Installation and tuning of the SIEM, collection from firewalls, servers, Active Directory, endpoints and applications, and integration with existing security tools.

Alert enrichment
03

Use cases, alert correlation and triage procedures

Detection use cases written for your environment, correlation rules that reduce noise, and step-by-step triage procedures for each alert type.

Assisted triage
04

Dashboards, escalation, training and operational support

Management and analyst dashboards, an escalation path to incident response, analyst training, and support while the team settles into shifts.

Investigation copilot
AI use cases

Three AI use cases, all optional

Optional. Every AI feature uses data you approve, can be switched off, and keeps a person in the loop.

Alert enrichment

Adds context to each alert automatically: asset owner, known vulnerabilities, recent changes and threat intelligence matches.

Assisted triage

Proposes a severity and a first action for each alert based on your procedures, so analysts confirm rather than start from zero.

Investigation copilot

Answers analysts' questions over the SIEM data in plain language and drafts the investigation notes, running entirely on premises.

When this service makes sense

Security monitoring with local control of data and processes.

  • Regulation or policy prevents security logs from leaving the country or the organisation.
  • You have many security tools but no single place where alerts are seen and handled.
  • You want an internal security team and need the platform, procedures and training to start it.
How we work

Delivery with clear criteria.

Project, recurring service or specialist engagement. The model and indicators are defined in the proposal.

01

Assess

Goals, data, systems and constraints.

02

Design

Scope, architecture, integrations and plan.

03

Implement

Configuration, development and testing.

04

Validate

Acceptance, quality and knowledge transfer.

Frequently asked questions

What clients ask us

Why on-premises rather than a cloud SOC service?

Data residency, latency to local systems and full control of tooling. Where a hybrid model fits better, we say so in the assessment.

Which SIEM do you use?

We work with open-source and commercial platforms and recommend based on log volume, budget and the skills of your team. Licensing is defined in the proposal.

How many people do we need?

A first stage with business-hours monitoring can run with two trained analysts. We size the team with you and can support the SOC while you recruit.
