Blue Team — cyber defence
Strengthen defences before risk becomes an incident.
We improve security controls and detection capabilities, focusing on secure configurations, visibility and team readiness. A penetration test tells you where the doors are open. The Blue Team closes them, watches them, and trains your people to notice when someone tries the handle. The work is practical: configuration baselines applied to real servers, detection rules tuned on your logs, and exercises run with your team rather than for them.
Business value
Greater visibility, stronger controls and teams better prepared to respond.
Blue Team — cyber defence
Four stages, each with a clear deliverable. Where AI helps, it is marked.
Hardening of servers, endpoints and services
Secure configuration baselines for Windows, Linux, Microsoft 365, firewalls and the services you expose, applied and verified.
Remediation prioritiesOptimisation of endpoint protection, identity and access controls
Multi-factor authentication, privileged account control, endpoint protection policies and the removal of accounts nobody uses.
Detection rules, event analysis and threat hunting
Rules that fire on the behaviours attackers actually use, regular review of events, and proactive searches for signs of compromise.
Anomalous behaviourAuthorised defensive exercises and remediation plans
Controlled simulations of phishing, lateral movement or data theft, agreed in advance, followed by a prioritised remediation plan.
Detection engineeringThree AI use cases, all optional
Optional. Every AI feature uses data you approve, can be switched off, and keeps a person in the loop.
Remediation priorities
Ranks findings from scans and audits by exploitability and business impact, so the team fixes what matters first.
Anomalous behaviour
Learns what normal looks like for accounts and hosts and highlights logins, transfers or processes that break the pattern.
Detection engineering
Drafts and tests detection rules from a described attack technique, reviewed and tuned by our analysts.
Strengthen defences before risk becomes an incident.
- A penetration test or audit left you with a long list of findings and no capacity to fix them.
- You have security tools installed but nobody is sure they would catch a real attack.
- Banking, telecom or public-sector requirements ask for demonstrable controls and monitoring.

Delivery with clear criteria.
Project, recurring service or specialist engagement. The model and indicators are defined in the proposal.
Assess
Goals, data, systems and constraints.
Design
Scope, architecture, integrations and plan.
Implement
Configuration, development and testing.
Validate
Acceptance, quality and knowledge transfer.
What clients ask us
Is this the same as a penetration test?
No. A penetration test attacks to find weaknesses. The Blue Team defends: it fixes the weaknesses, builds detection and prepares the team. The two work well together.
Do you replace our IT team?
No. We work with them. Baselines, rules and runbooks are handed over and documented so your team keeps the capability.
Can this run as an ongoing service?
Yes. Many clients start with a hardening project and continue with monthly detection reviews and quarterly exercises.
