Backups & disaster recovery
Prepare for recovery before you need it.
We design backup and recovery strategies to protect data and support service continuity, with restore testing and defined priorities. A backup that has never been restored is a hope, not a plan. We start from the business question of how much data you can afford to lose and how long you can be down, then build the copies, the off-site protection and the tested procedures that meet those numbers, for servers on your premises, in the cloud or both.
Business value
Greater readiness to recover data and services after failures or incidents.
Backups & disaster recovery
Four stages, each with a clear deliverable. Where AI helps, it is marked.
Identification of critical systems and definition of RPO and RTO
Which systems the business cannot work without, how much data loss is tolerable (RPO) and how fast each must be back (RTO).
Capacity planningLocal and off-site copies, retention and access protection
Fast local copies for everyday restores, a second copy off site or in the cloud, retention rules, and access controls so backups cannot be quietly deleted.
Backup job analysisImmutable or offline copies, according to the selected architecture
Copies that ransomware and compromised administrator accounts cannot alter, on immutable storage or rotated offline media.
Restore tests, procedures and recovery exercises
Scheduled restore tests with evidence, written recovery procedures, and an annual exercise that rebuilds a critical service from backup.
Recovery assistanceThree AI use cases, all optional
Optional. Every AI feature uses data you approve, can be switched off, and keeps a person in the loop.
Backup job analysis
Reviews every job result and explains failures and silent partial backups before they become a problem on the day you need a restore.
Capacity planning
Projects backup growth and retention needs so storage is bought before it runs out, not after.
Recovery assistance
Walks the on-duty engineer through the recovery procedure for the affected system, step by step, during an incident.
Prepare for recovery before you need it.
- You are not certain a full restore of your main server or database would succeed.
- Backups run on the same network and credentials that an attacker would take first.
- Insurers, auditors or group policy require documented RPO, RTO and restore tests.

Delivery with clear criteria.
Project, recurring service or specialist engagement. The model and indicators are defined in the proposal.
Assess
Goals, data, systems and constraints.
Design
Scope, architecture, integrations and plan.
Implement
Configuration, development and testing.
Validate
Acceptance, quality and knowledge transfer.
What clients ask us
We already have backups. What changes?
Usually three things: an off-site or immutable copy, restore tests with evidence, and a written procedure that someone other than the person who set it up can follow.
Do you support cloud and Microsoft 365?
Yes. Microsoft 365 mailboxes and SharePoint, virtual machines, databases and file servers, on your premises or in AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
How often are restores tested?
Monthly sample restores and at least one full recovery exercise a year is the usual baseline. The schedule is set in the proposal to match your RTO.
